Immaculately built 2008 S Yachts S700 lifting keel trailer sailor. Ex demonstrator boat not launched until 2010 with only a few months on the River Orwell then fresh water mooring only. In superb condition. Sailed for only 4/5 months on average per year by the current and first owner then stored on the hard with purpose made cover at RSC. Her well designed accommodation provides 4 berths (Double V berth forward and 2 singles), galley with 2 burner stove and integral sink with pressurised cold water, with a separate sea toilet,.
The S-700 is a luxurious and elegant yacht with a comfortable interior and impressive performance. A dynamic and versatile lifting keel cruiser, she comes with purpose built trailer (NEWLY SERVICED & 4 NEW TYRES MAY 2024) plus specially made Cover.

General Specification: Hull length 7.00m, water line length 6.00m, beam max 2.50m, draft 0.34/1.40m, displacement 1250 kg, keep mass 290kg (stainless steel casing), crew up to 5 persons but can easily be sailed single handed (as current owner does). Sail areas Main 14.78m2, Foresail 8.05m2, rigged for Spinnaker (Spinnaker not included). EC certificate C5 5 persons. Hull, deck and inner liner constructed of DCPD polyester resin with Vinyl Ester skin coat on hull behind gel coat, double skinned hull with polyurethane foam core (never condensates), hull and deck bonded and screwed together. Self- bailing roomy cockpit, 2 cockpit lockers, stainless steel swim ladder, two winches mounted on the coach roof plus two jib sheet winches and two sets of 3 spinlocks also mounted on the coach roof (port and starboard) , aluminium winch handle, self-bailing anchor locker, kedge anchor and 5 fenders. Single roller stainless steel bow fitting, four stainless steel mooring cleats, stainless steel pulpit and pushpits, stanchions and guardrails, one ring lifebuoy bracket (with life buoy) and mast chock, stainless steel tiller and extension.
Rigging: Standard mast aluminium installed on pivoting tabernacle deck mounting to allow mast to be raised and lowered with blocks and frame which are included in the sale price, boom in anodised aluminium, standing rigging in stainless steel (forestay, side shrouds & backstay (backstay with 3:1 purchase and cleat), one Genoa furling system with drum, all rigging runs back to cockpit. Complete running rigging includes main halyard, one boom topping lift, one spinnaker halyard, one main sheet and one continuous Genoa sheet, two reefing systems (slab reefing lines back to cockpit).
Sails: One furling Genoa with UV protective strip, one fully battened mainsail, Lazy Jack and main sail cover in dark blue with yacht name (Blue Buoy) in white- new covers.
Mooring & Anchoring: Self bailing chain locker with kedge type anchor (sufficient on inland waters), single roller stainless bow fitting, four stainless steel mooring cleats and 2 warps and 5 fenders included.

Cabin: Height 1.5m, companion way and step in light oak, stowage locker under companionway, fixed windows, forward opening hatch to double berth, vents in coach roof, forward v shaped double berth, seating in main cabin which also provide two single berths (all upholstered in stylish blue fabric) , fold down table in light oak, sea toilet in light oak compartment. Galley to port with integral sink and 2 hob burner, cupboard under sink, storage above sink and hob, cold water tap under pressure, loads of under bunk storage (6 compartments).
Plumbing: One freshwater tank 50 litre, under front berth (not used), pressurised electric water pump, one rigid 60 litre sewage tank (not used). Gas: Two gas bottle positions in forward deck locker including one gas bottle.
Electricity: 12v circuit including marine battery, 12v electrical panel, lighting throughout the cabin with halogen ceiling lights , navigation lights on three coloured light on mast-head plus wire runs for optional mast- head lighting.
Also included purpose made mast down cover for winter storage. The boat comes with the original owners manual and very useful mast raising and lowering system with full instructions. The current owner has raised and lowered the mast annually, single handed (though it is useful to have someone on the backstay to maintain the fore and aft line). Windex 15 wind indicator at mast-head. Compass double reading on starboard side.
SUMMARY: The S-700 is a luxurious and elegant sailing yacht with a lifting keel which gives versatility in coastal waters with perfect sailing properties designed by the renowned Polish Marine Architect Andrzej Skrzat. High quality stylish wood and upholstery interior completes this dynamic yacht.

Note at the time of writing (March 2024) there is a Classic S700 for sale in Portished, Somerset with a year of manufacture 2008 at £11,950.00 which makes Blue Buoy an absolute bargain. Also an ETAP 24i on the next mooring to Blue Buoy sold last summer for £17,000.
