British Keelboat League Event Provisional
The event consists of a series of short Windward/Leeward fleet races and is designed for teams to sail in matched RS21 keelboats.
Who is this for?
Teams of Sailors made up of friends from multiple clubs, including RYA club teams, University Teams, Womans teams, Youth teams.
The type of racing is designed to make exciting, high speed sailing and minimise the spread in the fleet, and with a target time of 15 minutes per race The emphasis is on as many races in as quick succession as possible.
What is it going to achieve?
The event is part of a National British Keelboat League events taking place throughout the country. It is an inter club competition sailed in RS21's for teams to compete against each other on a level playing field to fight for the "BKL Champions' title. A great weekend of fast, fun racing with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and friendships.
Winning teams will receive invitations to participate in the finals of the British Keelboat League in Cowes in September.

Accomodation
We do have on site bunk house accommodation, if you wish to book a bed or a room then please contact Kirsty at Rutland Sailing Club on 01780 720292. Payment requested on booking. The cost of a bed is £32 or £36 for the weekend if you take the en-suite option.
