University / Club Keelboat league 14th 15th February
The event consists of a series of short course fleet races sailed in RS21'sand is designed for teams to sail in matched RS21 keelboats.
Who is this for?
Teams of Sailors made up of friends from multiple clubs of any age, RYA club teams, University Teams, Womans teams, Youth teams.
The type of racing is designed to make exciting, high speed short, and with a target time of 15 minutes per race, the emphasis is on as many short races in as quick succession as possible.
A great weekend of fast, fun racing with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and friendships.
What is it going to achieve?
The University Sailing League is the opportunity for all University teams to compete against each other on a level playing field to fight for the 'USL Champions' title..
Also Inter-club competition for teams from clubs and groups of sailors as part of the BKL National Programme,
There will be separate results for University KL teams as well as overall BKL
Winning teams will receive invitations to participate in the finals of the British Keelboat League later in the year

Accommodation
We do have on site bunk house accommodation, if you wish to book a bed or a room then please contact Kirsty at Rutland Sailing Club on 01780 720292. Payment requested on booking. The cost of a bed is £32 or £36 if you take the en suite option.
Practice in RS21's
The RS21's will be launched on the Friday morning. The boats will be available to teams for approximately 2 hour slots on Friday afternoon from about 12.00 free of charge.
