Cruiser Fleet

The Cruiser Fleet is one of the largest fleets at Rutland Sailing Club. The expanse of the lake makes it an ideal setting for keel boats and cruisers. It includes any cabin type or open day-boat with a weighted keel either fixed or retractable.

The cruiser fleet activities include:

• Assistance with launching and recovering cruisers
• Lunches with speakers
• A night sail for charity
• Regular newletters
• Social events such as BBQs, Sail to Barnsdale Creek for a picnic, a Christmas lunch
• Lake Races
• Cruiser Fleet Teas

Included in the Cruiser Fleet, are "Senior Sailing" activities including cruising on Fridays and various rallies.
