Performance Sailing Tuition

We are able to offer performance sailing tuition either following the RYA syllabus or just to help you sail your own boat better, on a 1.1 or 2.1, with us on board or alongside in a powerboat, we can structure the session to your requirements.

This is to take your skills to the next level or coach the accomplished sailor to achieve better things. We will help you to hone your skills.

There will be all sorts of information on the various rig and sail controls, as well as an introduction to trapezing and getting the most out of your boat both up-and-downwind.

This course will improve your boat handling and confidence in performance dinghies. By the end of the course, you will be able to sail faster and more efficiently in all conditions. This is a very practical course, but will also have some areas where you will gain greater understanding of the relationship between the sailor, the boat and the conditions.

Coaching can be tailored to general coaching or to improve specific skills or aspects of your sailing.

This course aims to develop you into a very successful sailor who can understand how to sail performance dinghies in all wind conditions. This will allow you to understand how to deal with all conditions you can expect to encounter. It will allow you to sail the boat to best advantage at all times. Our emphasis is on coaching the sailor to improve their sailing performance to the best of their ability.
