Club Winners at the Tiger

The club hosted 148 entries for the 2020 John Merricks' Tiger Trophy with some excellent wins by club members:

Jamie Tylecote, winner of the John Merricks Junior Tiger trophy for those under 16 sailing his Laser 4.7. Jamie was one of the youngest competitors at 14 years old and finished in 10th place from 148 entries. A fantastic performance in such trying conditions.

Carys Attwell winner of the Lady Tiger Trophy for the first all-female crew sailing her Laser 4.7. This was an equally good performance as Jamie. Carys is also 14 years old and finished 11th from 148. Also a magnificent performance.

Val Millward won the Shere Khan prize for the first helm over 60 sailing her Challenger to 15th place overall. Val is a Paralympic sailor and beat some very strong opposition of able-bodied and Sailabiity sailors to win this prize.
