National Schools event & UKTRA

Over twenty Rutland Sailing Club kids competed in two big team racing events last weekend. Congratulations them all!

At the National Schools event at Chew Valley Firefly event ended with a Rutland v Rutland final and the Ospreys Feva team took the bronze medal.

At UKTRA Raiders finished 3rd overall and our youth team 12th overall significantly ahead of other youth teams. A number of Rutland sailors represented their universities.

But it's not all about the sailing, friendships are forged not just within their own teams, it's amazing to see how may friends they have accross the community, including in the impromptu football and rugby games! We are always looking for younger members to join, we hope to start Sunday afternoon Tera sailing again after Easter, if you are interested come and say hi or make contact through the office.
