We are at a unique moment in the Club's evolution. Please ask every member of your family / corporate membership to tell us what they think by answering this survey - each will need their own unique login.

Prior to Covid your council had embarked upon the creation of a long-term plan for the development of the club, the pandemic inevitably slowed this piece of work. It has also changed our lives in many ways, not least being the way in which we take part in recreational activities and engage with other people. This has had and will continue to have an impact on how we use our sailing club yet also provides us with a unique opportunity to really think about what we all want from our club in the future.

Therefore, this survey doesn't ask you for decisions on specific questions, nor does it suggest specific changes to activities at the club. It focuses on your views and opinions.

We are trying to understand what the club does that is important to you (and what isn't). We would like to understand what we need to build upon or to start to create that will enable you to engage more with our club.

We would like to hear about why you sail, when you would like to sail. The types of sailing activities that you enjoy and how you would like to see these supported and developed. Ashore we would like to know what you want from the site, the clubhouse, the catering and the staff that make it all work for us.

Please take some time to complete the survey, it is being done for the benefit of us all of to ensure that we continue to enjoy our sailing club into the future. We will share the results with you when we show you the long-term development plan. We won't all get everything that we ask for but you should see how your interests fit into the long term development and how that works to support the enjoyment of the majority and the continued success of our club.
