Job Title: RYA Senior Instructor
Start: April 2022
Duration of Contract: Until 30th September 2022 (possible opportunity for the contract to be extended to the right candidate)
Duties will include:
- RYA course and training centre administration
- Delivering RYA courses
- Leading a team of dinghy instructors, helping to co-ordinate staff training and personal development
- Overseeing and carrying out daily maintenance of kit
- Liaising with Club Manager and Rear Commodore (Sailing)
- Helping to develop future programmes
Essential knowledge, experience & qualifications
- Passionate about water sports
- Immaculate professional presentation
- Friendly and approachable manor manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- RYA Senior dinghy instructor
- Valid first aid certificate
- Ability to lead a team and be a team player
Desirable Knowledge, experience, and qualifications
- RYA Windsurf / Powerboat / VHF / First Aid Instructor
- Valid UK driving license
This is a development role and you may aspire to becoming sailing school manager or club waterfront manager in due course.
