New Treasurer needed

It is with regret that our Honorary Treasurer will be standing down in July, this was the original plan with the original treasurer being re-instated after bad health. This is not going to be possible due to personal circumstances, with this we are now looking for a Treasurer to take the lead overseeing the Club finances.
We thank Richard and Mike for all there hard work over the last few years. We look forward to seeing them out on the water as much as possible.

Be a member of Council, providing for effective succession and a balance of expertise. Attend Flag Officer Meetings.
Control the Club's liquid assets and manage the Club's financial affairs including insurance and ensuring that adequate books of account and records are maintained. Direct the long-term financial strategy of the Club, including maintenance of appropriate reserves.
Liaise with the Club Manager and office staff on matters regarding the management of the Club's accounts.
Concern her/himself with the work and welfare of the office staff in relation to the bookkeeping and accounting functions in order to support the Club Manager in exercising their line responsibility for staff.
Oversight of the IT system.
Ensure that the final accounts are compiled and the audit completed in time for the accounts to be circulated to Members in time for the AGM.
Ensure that viable budgets for the current year and next following year are always in place and understood by Flag Officers, Club Manager and Council.
Assist in the selection of their successor.
Hear appeals under the Staff Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.
